What a memorable day for the team of SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘RRR’ as the ‘Naatu Naatu’ song from the movie won the Best Original Song award at Golden Globe 2023.
The 80th edition of the prestigious award ceremony was held on January 10, 2023, in California and it was a grand affair. The main cast and crew of RRR attended the award ceremony and conquered the noted award to create history. Notably, Naatu Naatu is the first Asian song to win the award in the Best Original Song category.
Ace music composer MM Keeravani, who provided music for RRR, received the award at the event among several filmmakers across the world. However, RRR lost to ‘Argentina 1985’ in the Best Film non-English category. Comedian Jerrod Carmichael hosted Golden Globe 2023 in Los Angeles.
On the other side, RRR is expecting to get nominated in at least one category in the upcoming edition of the Oscar Awards.
