The makers of Akhil’s Agent had recently announced that the film will be releasing in theaters during next Sankranthi season. But this plan was scrapped soon after as Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy locked the Sankranthi slots.
However, there has been no update on the actual release plan of Agent till now.
The makers are in hibernation mode. There’s no promotional material from Agent and there’s no clarity on the release date either.
All that’s left is a whole lot of confusion on the whole project. No one knows about the status of the shoot or the release date of the Akhil starrer.
There are also reports that the unit could be going for reshoots as they didn’t like a minor portion.
All things combined, Agent is nowhere near to hitting the theaters. This is a strange scenario for a film featuring a star kid like Akhil.
