Tech giants are in the loop of laying off employees left right center. After Meta and Twitter laid off a sizable portion of their global workforce, Amazon is on the verge of orchestrating one of the biggest layoffs in the history of the company.
Reportedly, Amazon plans to lay off as many as 10,000 of its employees globally as a part of its sizing down process.
The company intends to send out pink slips to the employees from this week. The bosses are asking the employees to brace for impact.
This is one of the biggest cuts in Amazon’s history, as has been the case with several companies of late.
