Pakistan, who lost to India in the first match, suffered a death blow in the second match against Zimbabwe. In a tense battle, the team lost badly by 1 run. Zimbabwean players who excelled in batting and bowling gave a huge surprise to Pakistan.
Batting first, Zimbabwe scored 130 runs, losing 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. But Pakistan batsmen faltered in hitting the target. They managed to score only 129 runs after losing 8 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. With this, Zimbabwe won by only one run.
