Pawan Kalyan is a very openly spoken individual, who has never shied away from being very frank about his personal life. The actor has married thrice and is currently happy with his third wife. By basic rules, one isn’t supposed to comment on any politician’s personal life, as it has little to do with the person’s political career. However, this is not the case in Andhra Pradesh politics currently, with no barriers between personal and political lives anymore, thanks to the current government.
The Andhra Pradesh Women’s Commission is now attacking Pawan on a personal level, on the basis that he has been through three marriages. They are alleging that Pawan’s recent comments on alimony are apprehensive and offensive towards women, which they are demanding that he take back immediately, and even apologize to women on the whole.
While Pawan’s opponents seem more than happy to see this controversy surround the Jana Sena leader, one can’t help but wonder what the problem of the society is when his past partners seemed to be okay with parting from him, and his getting married again. After all, it’s a personal issue!
