TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu urged Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to implement the loan waiver scheme which was promised by the previous TDP government.
Naidu in his regime, deposited a total of Rs. 90000 in every individual’s account, in three installments and skipped another two installments, amounting to Rs. 60000. Referring to the same, Naidu urged Jagan to pay the balance amount, saying the farmers are struggling with the financial crisis.
After the formation of YSRCP government in the state, Jagan approved none of the requests of Naidu. When the TDP Chief requested the young CM to allow him to use Praja Vedika for the political meetings of his party, Jagan rejected it on an outright basis and also demolished the building, calling it an illegal construction.
Now even the latest request of Naidu that is in favor of farmers is also expected to be rejected, as the dynamic CM is already implementing the “YSR Rythu Bharosa”, through which he is already providing a financial aid of Rs. 12500 per year for every eligible farmer.
But unlike Praja Vedika where the impact is going to be only on Naidu, if Jagan rejects the loan waiver as requested by Naidu, then it may show a negative impact on the state government, among the farmers. While Amaravati farmers are already unhappy over the ruling party’s idea of shifting the Capital from Amaravati, rejecting Loan waiver may make the situation worse.
