Megastars Chiranjeevi’s ‘God Father’ is arriving on October 5. Directed by Mohan Raja, it is known that the political thriller is the remake of the Malayalam super hit film ‘Lucifer’. Going by trailer, we can see that God Father follows Lucifer’s screenplay.
However, Mohan Raja says that he has written a fresh screenplay for Godfather. “The remake of Lucifer was brought up during discussions of Dhruva-2. Producer NV Prasad suggested my name to helm this project. I watched Lucifer before I met them. I found a new perspective in it. I shared the same with Chiranjeevi. The ace actor was impressed with the angle and asked to work on the script. Along with the hero, the Telugu version will have ten new characters, which will also win in the movie. Apart from Chiranjeevi, God Father will also feature Salman Khan, Nayanthara, Satyadev and Samuthirakani, among others in key roles.
