We already reported that ‘Allu Studio’ was inaugurated today in Hyderabad, marking the 100th anniversary of Allu Arjun’s grandfather, the late actor Allu Ramalingaiah. Chiranjeevi attended the event as the Chief guest and launched the studio. For the unversed, Chiru is the son-in-law of Ramalingaiah.
As part of Ramalingaiah’s 100th birth anniversary, a book was launched on the late actor at Park Hyatt in Hyderabad. Former Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu graced the event as the Chief guest and handed over the book to Chiranjeevi among the family members of Allu Ramalingaiah.
The event was attended by several celebrities from the industry, such as Ram Charan, Sai Dharam Tej, Trivikram Srinivas and others. Around 13 star comedians were facilitated at this grand event.
Allu Ramalingaiah appeared in over 1000 Telugu movies. He was awarded a Padma Shri by the Indian government in the year 1990. He was also given the Raghupathi Venkaiah award in the year 2001.
