Andhra Pradesh minister Botsa Satyanarayana had some interesting things to say about the yatras taking place in Andhra Pradesh, and said that it wouldn’t take a lot to put an end to these yatras, if the government really wanted to do that, but since this is a democratic society that we’re living in, it’s not something that can be done.
The minister made these statements in the port city, at a media conference. Botsa said that Visakhapatnam can be made into a capital that is beyond Mumbai, if Rs. 10,000 Crores are invested in the city, but that’s not the goal of the AP govenremtn. He said that it is not right for anyone to link the real estate issues of a place to the capitals issue, and bring the people of the state into the picture.
Botsa said that it is unfair for anyone to think that the people of North Andhra do not know anything and that they would remain silent to whatever was being done or said. He said that the main aim of the government was to develop the state in every nook and corner, and that’s when there would be real development in the state, which is why the three capital plan was conceived in the first place.
