South siren Samantha’s much-awaited project ‘Shaakuntalam’ has finally locked a release date. One of the most anticipated movies in Tollywood, the mythological drama film, is all set for a grand pan-India release on November 4, 2022.
The makers announced this big update with a small glimpse, which features the lead pair Samantha and Dev Mohan, who plays Dushyanta, the king of the Puru Dynasty.
Written and directed by Gunasekhar, Shaakuntalam wrapped up its filming long ago. Inspired by Kalidasa’s famous story, the movie also stars, Mohan Babu, Gautami Tadimalla, Aditi Balan, and Ananya Nagalla in other key roles. Allu Arjun’s daughter, Allu Arha is making her acting debut with this flick. She will be seen as prince Bharata. Gunaa Teamworks backed this project, which will be distributed by Dil Raju Productions. Music is composed by Mani Sharma.
