It is known that the 68th National Film Awards were announced Friday in New Delhi. Suriya starrer Soorarai Pottru bagged five awards while Colour Photo has won the Best Telugu Film award and S Thaman won the Best Music Director in the Feature Film category for ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’. Sandhya Raju won the Best Choreographer for the feature film ‘Natyam’.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Megastar Chiranjeevi congratulated all the winners who bagged awards at the national level.
“Hearty Congratulations to ALL the National Award Winners from across India. Our very own #ColorPhoto team Team #Natyam, @Sudha_Kongara @gvprakash Team #SooraraiPottru & Team #AyyappanumKoshiyum among others!!” Chiru wrote.
Mentioning about Thaman, the Sye Raa actor wrote, “Delighted that @MusicThaman won the National Award for Best Music for #AlaVaikunthapurramulo. Keep up the fantastic work my dear Thaman!! Way to Go! Hearty Congrats!!”
Chiranjeevi also had a special wish for Suriya. “Hearty Congrats to my dearest @Suriya_offl on the National Best Actor Award!! It’s even more special coming on the eve of your birthday!! Many Many Happy Returns of the Day & Wishing you Many many more accolades along the way!!”
