Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan said the fire accident at Porus Laboratories in Andhra Pradesh’s Eluru district was tragic. The actor said he was aware that six workers had been killed in the accident. Expressing profound sympathy to the families of the deceased, PSPK demanded Rs 1 Crore compensation to the kin of the victims. Janasena has issued a statement to this effect.
Pawan Kalyan urged the government to support the families of the surviving workers in all possible ways. He demanded Rs 1 Cr compensation similar to that given in the LG Polymers incident. In his statement, the Janasenani said that another 13 people were hospitalized with serious injuries in the incident. “Accidents often occur in chemical factories. It is the responsibility of the government to enforce strict regulations to prevent such accidents,” he added.
As per reports, after a blast at the laboratory, a fire broke out and killed six people, while around 13 others were injured and shifted to a local hospital. At the time of the accident, 30 people were working in the block.
Immediately after receiving information about the fire, firefighters rushed to the scene and took relief measures. NDRF personnel were also involved in the relief efforts. The blaze was brought under control shortly after the fire broke out.
