In a shocking experience, Rajasthan Royals star Yuzvendra Chahal has revealed that a drunk player had hung him from the balcony on the 15th floor of their hotel during IPL 2013.
Speaking to R Ashwin in a video shared by the Rajasthan Royals, Chahal recalled the incident from 2013. The young cricketer said was bullied by a fellow player during a post-game party in Bengaluru at IPL 2013.
Chahal said he had a near-death experience and learnt an important lesson from that spine-chilling incident. However, he refused to disclose the name of the player, saying he knew the importance of being responsible for that episode.
“I never told this story, from today everyone will know. I never shared this.” Chahal said.
Meanwhile, a section of cricket fans urged Chahal to name the player so that action can be taken against him.
