The untimely death of Andhra Pradesh Minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy has come as a shock to both Telugu states. The 50-year-old YSRCP leader passed away following a heart attack on Monday morning at a private hospital in Hyderabad.
With the sudden demise of Goutham Reddy, the atmosphere in the state has suddenly changed and the leaders, as well as activists, are unable to digest the news. Amid these tragic times, the Bheemla Nayak movie team has decided to cancel their pre-release event, which was supposed to happen today.
The makers of ‘Bheemla Nayak’ have arranged the movie’s pre-release event at the Yousufguda Police Grounds, in Hyderabad on Monday. It was announced that Telangana Minister and TRS leader KT Rama Rao will be the chief guest at the event. However, the event has now been cancelled and it will be scheduled for a later date.
Sharing the same, the production house wrote, “Our deepest condolences to the family & friends of AP Minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy garu on his sudden demise. As a mark of respect, the pre-release event of #BheemlaNayak won’t be happening today!”
Powerstar Pawan Kalyan has also released a statement saying that his heart does not agree to celebrate the Bheemla Nayak event at this tragic time. “That is why we have decided to postpone the event which is scheduled to take place today. The ceremony will take place soon. Details will be announced by the production company,” the actor said in the statement.
Our deepest condolences to the family & friends of AP Minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy garu on his sudden demise. As a mark of respect, the pre-release event of #BheemlaNayak won't be happening today!
