Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor’s long delayed big budget film ‘Shamshera’ finally has a release date. Yash Raj Films today announced the release date along with an intriguing teaser.
Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, and Vaani Kapoor, the periodic film will hit the screens on 22nd July 2022.
Taking to Twitter, YRF’s official account wrote, “A legend will rise on 22nd July. Celebrate #Shamshera with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.”
In the teaser, we can see Ranbir, Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt decoding who Shamshera is and why freedom plays an important role.
Directed by Karan Malhotra, Shamshera has Sanjay Dutt playing the antagonist. The filming of this big-budget movie began in December 2018 and it has been delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Ranbir will treat the audience on the big screens after 4 years as his last film ‘Sanju’ was released in 2018.
