Ex-Speaker of Andhra Pradesh assembly, Kodela Siva Prasad is facing the allegations that he had stolen the assembly furniture and stored it in his house.
While Kodela accepted that he possesses furniture and is ready to pay for it or give back, the twist in the tale came, when a few of the unidentified men stolen the same furniture in his house, last night.
Adding to it, the chief marshal of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly, Ganesh Babu admitted that he had organized the shifting of the assembly infrastructure like computers, furniture etc. to Kodela’s house. He revealed that he had to do so, upon the orders of Kodela. The concerned officials then shifted Ganesh Babu out of his duties. The officials are anticipating that there would be the involvement of a few other leaders, and so, the inquiry is on to nab all the culprits.
Meanwhile, the robbery of the furniture exactly at the time, when the issue about the same is hot in the media, is awakening new doubts in the political circles. While a few say that Kodela himself is trying to hide the computers, for the kind of information it possesses, a few others doubt the involvement of the ruling party in the robbery. However, the truth is expected to be out shortly.
