Rajinikanth’s Annaatthe (Peddanna in Telugu) opened to pretty poor reviews. But that doesn’t appear to be stopping Rajini from working with Siva again in the near future.
Apparently, Rajini has agreed to work with Siva again for one of his upcoming projects. Sun Pictures, who bankrolled Annaatthe will be producing Rajini – Siva’s second project as well.
Sun Pictures are reportedly planning to officially announce this project very soon. In all likelihood, this will be Rajini’s immediate next project after Annaatthe. An official announcement on the same is awaited.
It remains to be seen if Siva can come up with a better script for Rajinikanth next time around.
On the box office front, Annaatthe is said to have grossed around Rs 50 crores worldwide on the opening day, largely thanks to the Diwali release slot.
