South Indian film actress Samantha has been in the news for many reasons lately. Her divorce with husband Naga Chaitanya has become a hot topic in Telugu states. After ending four years of marriage with Chay, the star diva is now focusing on her professional life and doing a lot of work to keep herself busy.
The latest we hear is that Samantha had reportedly refused to work with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan in a film, which is being directed by Atlee.
As per reports, the makers of the film first approached the actress for the SRK starrer action film. However, she turned it down because she was planning a baby with Naga Chaitanya. Later, the offer went into the hands of Nayanthara.
As Samantha shares a great rapport with Atlee and has worked with him in Theri and Mersal, the director wanted to rope the 34-year-old actress opposite Shah Rukh Khan. But, the actress refused to sign the film. However, there is no official word on this news yet.
