The Chennai Super Kings have made an absolutely sensational comeback in this year’s edition of the Indian Premier Leager. They have won the trophy this year, after failing to even qualify for the playoffs last year.
Chennai beat KKR by a margin of 27 runs and clinched their 4th IPL title. The MS Dhoni-led side warded off an early scare as KKR got off to a bright start. But once Jadeja and Hazleweeod were bought on to bowl the second spell, things turned around for the Chennai outfit. Thanks to some poor batting from the KKR middle order, CSK managed to take control of the proceedings in the middle overs and eventually went on to win the game.
After bowing out of the tournament even without making it to the playoffs last season, CSK scripted a stunning turnaround with an emphatic title win this year.
