The pre-release event of Vaishnav Tej and Krish Jagarlamudi’s Konda Polam was held yesterday night and it was a gala affair.
Speaking at the event, Vaishnav said Konda Polam is like a second chapter to him as an actor after Uppena. “Krish is like a brother to me now. We worked really hard on Konda Polam as we all believed in the subject. Playing Kataru Ravindra was an absolute delight. Working on the film has been a rewarding experience for me,” Vaishnav said.
Rakul Preet said she came out of her comfort zone to play Obulamma in Konda Polam. She said this is one of the standout films in her career and thanked Krish for giving her the Obulamma role.
Krish thanked Pawan Kalyan for letting him take up Konda Polam while Hari Hara Veera Mallu was still under production. He said Konda Polam is a film that is really close to his heart.
Konda Polam is a rustic action drama and it is gearing up for release on the 8th of this month.
