The New Zealand Cricket Board has given the green signal to their cricketers to participate in the second leg of the IPL 2021, which will be held in the UAE from September 19 to October 10.
Kane Williamson (Sunrisers Hyderabad), Trent Boult (Mumbai Indians), Kyle Jamieson (RCB), Mitchell Santner (Chennai Super Kings) will be taking part in the IPL for their respective teams. In fact, during the IPL, New Zealand will play a five-match T20 series against Bangladesh, three ODIs and five T20I matches against Pakistan.
However, it has relaxed the players playing in the IPL from this series. Also, a team led by Kane Williamson has been announced for the T20 World Cup and T20 series against India. Another team led by Tom Latham will play against Bangladesh and Pakistan.
