In one of his promotional interviews of Manmadhudu 2, Akkineni Nagarjuna revealed about her daughter-in-law Samantha’s reaction on the movie’s trailer.
Samantha had to face severe backlash for her comments against Arjun Reddy director Sandeep Reddy Vanga in the past. But when Manmadhudu 2 trailer was released and had been receiving criticisms for its bold content, Samantha’s silence on the same has troubled her even more. Adding to it, the censor certificate of Manmadhudu 2, that revealed the bold scenes in the film, further worsened the position of Samantha.
But it seems, Nagarjuna is now trying to save his daughter-in-law from falling into more criticism. The Ragada star said, “Samantha initially did not like Manmadhudu 2 trailer. But when I asked her to watch it again and understand the concept, she was okay with it.”

Manmadhudu 2 is all set to hit the screens on the 9th of this month. As the 2002 blockbuster Manmadhudu had been highly appreciated for its comedy and smooth emotions, the latest film is able to gain the readymade advantage.
On the flip side, both the teaser and trailer of Manmadhudu 2 could not impress well, which is a major minus point of the project. However, it is the overall content of the film that is going to decide its fate at the box office.
