However, he gave an important suggestion to the ICC. Kohli believed that a single match was not enough to select the Best Test Team. He said that teams should play three matches and the well-performed team should be titled the Best Test Team.
Kohli said that if the final is to be held as a Test series, there should be three matches in it.
Kohli said the defeat did not bother the team and reminded them that they have been playing well for the last four years. “I am not saying this because I have lost, I am saying this for the betterment of Test cricket,” Kohli said.
