Corona is again booming in China. 20 new cases were reported in the city of Guangzhou which has around a 1.5 crore population. The vigilante government imposed strict restrictions in several areas.
In the city of Guangzhou, 20 cases of the corona were reported within a week. This has raised concerns among officials. According to the Global Times newspaper, Chinese officials have revealed that the new variant is more dangerous than previous variants.
The government ordered tests on Saturday in Liwan district to find the new variant. The tests will be conducted for the people in five areas of the district. The govt decided to ban open markets, childcare centres, cultural activities and restaurants. It ordered officials in the four surrounding districts of Liwan to limit public events.
