Dear Comrade, one of the most anticipated movies in the recent times is finally out in the theaters today and has received a decent response from the public.
But much to the shock, the makers chopped off the Canteen song, which went viral on the YouTube. The song was an instant Chartbuster. It could have connected well with the ‘C’ centre audience in the theatre. But the audience had to face a shock with the trimming of it, due to the duration issue. Many opined that there are several unnecessary scenes in the film, which could have been trimmed, instead of the song.
On the other side, it is a common practice for the makers to add extra scenes upon the demand of the audience or to increase the theatrical run. So, if not immediately, there is still a possibility for Canteen Song to make it to the theaters at least after a week.

Directed by Bharat Kamma and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Yash Rangineni, Dear Comrade has Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. Justin Prabhakaran has composed the tunes, which received lakhs of clicks on YouTube. Impressed with the script, Karan Johar has recently bought the rights of Dear Comrade to remake it in Bollywood.
