The US is ready to lend a helping hand to India as the second wave of the corona epidemic is booming in the country. It said it was trying to supply some of the raw materials needed for vaccine production to India. This was stated by US Security Adviser Jake Sullivan during a phone conversation with Indian Security Adviser Ajit Doval.
Jake Sullivan expressed deep sympathy for the current dire situation in India. He announced that the United States is ready to provide India with therapeutics, rapid diagnostic test kits, ventilators, and PPE kits immediately. He said that the US is trying to produce and supply oxygen to India. Jake said the United States will produce 1 billion vaccines in India by the end of 2022.
