In what could be considered as an interesting development, Shankar has shifted his focus onto Indian 2 which was halted last year. He wants to complete the Kamal Hassan starrer at the earliest.
Going into the story, Lyca Productions recently filed a case against Shankar for stalling Indian 2. This seems to have provoked Shankar and he is now willing to resume the project.
Shankar is in talks with foreign technicians who are a part of Indian 2’s crew and he is eager to take the project onto the floors as early as he possibly can.
The remaining portion of Indian 2 will be wrapped up in under 50 days and the unit is determined to get things done at a brisk pace.
It is said that Indian 2 unit might be resuming shoot from this June but an official announcement is awaited.
The social drama is a sequel to the blockbuster Bharatheeyudu and it stars Kamal Hassan, Kajal, and Siddharth in important roles.
