In a big blow to the distributers, the Andhra Pradesh High Court today agreed government’s decision to restrict the ticket prices of Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab.
It’s known that the AP government prevented Vakeel Saab from selling tickets at hiked prices through a GO a day ahead of its theatrical release.
Outraged with the government’s GO, the distributors approached the HC and explained that the government’s order could bring them huge losses as they invested massive amounts in the film. In response, the HC issued an order to stay the government’s order.
But in a shock to the Vakeel Saab distributors, the HC ordered today not to increase ticket prices after the state challenged the stay. The HC’s judgment to be executed from tomorrow in AP. Now, it is a big task for the distributors to overcome this unexpected challenge.
