The voting for 234 assembly seats in Tamil Nadu is underway. The election has begun early this morning and people are thronging to polling booths to cast their votes. The state is witnessing a tough battle between arch-rivals AIADMK and DMK.
Meanwhile, Tamil Superstars have also shown up to cast their respective votes. Here is the list of actors who made it to the polling booths.
Ajith Kumar and Shalini
Kollywood star Ajith, who is known as Thala, is the first among all the celebrities to show up at the polling booth. He cast his votes along with his wife Shalini at the Thiruvanmiyur polling booth.
Rajinikanth
Superstar Rajinikanth made it to the polling booth at Chennai Stella Maris College.
Kamal Haasan and his daughters
Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) chief and actor Kamal Haasan reached the polling booth along with his two daughters Shruti Haasan and Akshara Haasan.
Thalapathy Vijay
Vijay came to the polling booth on a bicycle. By riding the bicycle, the actor protested against the rising prices of diesel and petrol.
Suriya and Karthi
Kollywood actors and brothers Suriya and Karthi along with their father Sivakumar arrived at the polling booth.
