Vijaysai Reddy is one of the close associates of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. As the state is in deep financial crisis, Vijaysai is trying his best to extract funds from the Centre, to implement the welfare programs.
After getting enough reputed posts from the YSRCP government, Vijaysai has now bagged another important post and this time, it is at the local level.
Continuing the tradition of appointing MPs as the members of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), the BJP government picked Nijamabad MP Dharmapuri Aravind and another MP Satyavathi as the members of AIIMS, situated in Mangalagiri.

Along with them even Vijaysai Reddy has been picked as one more member in a unanimous manner. The reports are rife that Jagan has personally recommended him for the post, for the kind of association he shares with him.
Adding to it, as there is a requirement of a local leader who can handle the activities, Vijaysai has been considered as a suitable option, as he is playing a key role in the affairs of the state government. The members for the nine campuses of AIIMS across the country, will be picked in the similar manner.
