We know the makers of Allu Arjun’s upcoming film Pushpa have officially revealed that Fahadh Faasil will play the antagonist in the film. The pan-India project marks the Malayalam actor’s debut in the Telugu industry.
Now, here is an interesting buzz about his remuneration for Pushpa. As per reports, the talented actor is taking a huge Rs 5 Cr plus GST. This fat paycheck is said to be a reasonable remuneration for casting a gifted actor who bagged many awards with his earlier performances.
Actually, Vijay Sethupathi was signed as the antagonist. But he opted out of the project for reasons unknown.
Pushpa is a third-time collaboration of Allu Arjun and Sukumar. Tipped to be a forest-based thriller, the film stars Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady. The film, which is based on red sandalwood smuggling, will be released in five languages. The film has music by Devi Sri Prasad and it will release worldwide on August 13.
