The forthcoming schedule of Rajamouli’s RRR could well be one of the last ones, if not the last and the entire lead cast is expected to join the sets. Jr NTR, Ram Charan, and Alia Bhatt will be shooting for their portions in this schedule.
Incidentally, there was uncertainty over Alia Bhatt’s availability after the director of her ongoing project Sanjay Leela Bhansali tested COVID positive and she was advised to home quarantine. It was said that the shoot of RRR might get delayed if Alia isn’t available.
However, Alia has confirmed that she tested COVID negative and added she will be getting back to work at the earliest.
This should come as a big relief to Rajamouli as any delays in shoot at this point in time could well result in postponement of release. Now that Alia tested COVID negative and is ready to get back to action, there won’t be any delays in RRR shoot.
Alia Bhatt plays Ram Charan’s love interest in RRR and she even took up Telugu speaking classes for her role in the film. She is expected to join RRR shoot in the forthcoming schedule and wrap up her portion.
RRR is slated for worldwide theatrical release on 13th of May. DVV Danayya is bankrolling the big-budget periodic action thriller.
