The services of 104 vehicles are going to halt in AP. The 104 vehicles are providing medicines for BP, diabetes, as well as other chronic diseases, in villages of AP for a decade. Now, the government plans to stop the services of 104 in AP. The information is being obtained from the Health authorities in this regard. Recently, medical health officials conducted a review on 104 services. 104 officials from different districts met with Deputy DMHOs. The decision was taken in this regard.
In the joint state, 104 vehicle services were started in 2007 under the then Congress government. Out of a total of 195 vehicles in the state, only 120 vehicles are currently in service. The services of the remaining vehicles were halted. Currently, 1375 employees are working under the respective DMHOs.
