Former MLA, Medchal DCC President Kuna Srisailam Gowda said goodbye to the Congress party. Recently, it was announced that he would soon join the BJP.
It was revealed that he had resigned from the party posts as well as the primary membership.
He said he was not satisfied with the developments in the Congress for six years and accused the party of completely failing to fight the problems of the people despite being in the Opposition.
In the 2009 Assembly elections, Srisailam Gowda won the Quthbullapur Assembly constituency as an Independent candidate.
He contested and lost the next elections as a Congress candidate. However, it is already known that Vijayashanti and other key leaders have come out of the Congress and joined the BJP.
