Tamil superstar Suriya stated that he has tested positive for Covid-19 and is presently undergoing treatment for the same.
“I am suffering from ‘corona’ infection and am receiving treatment. Love and thanks to the dedicated supportive physicians,” he posted on social media.
Suriya will be in-home isolation until he fully recovers from the virus.
On the career front, Suriya will be joining hands with versatile filmmaker Vetrimaaran for his next project, Vaadivasal. He will be joining the sets after he tests negative for the virus.
Suriya’s last film, Soorarai Pottru released directly on Amazon Prime Video and received appreciation from all quarters.
