Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar, who visited Rayalaseema districts to directly oversee election affairs, showered praise on former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy in Kadapa district. He recalled that YS gave them the freedom to express the truth without any fear. Ramesh Kumar said that working close to YS Rajasekhar Reddy when he was chief minister, was a key turning point in his life.

Ramesh Kumar recalled that he had never felt embarrassed when he worked under YS Rajasekhar Reddy. In addition to this, he also said that he will always have YSR blessings.
