Nandamuri Balakrishna is currently busy with director Boyapati Srinu‘s film. This is the third collaboration between the director and actor, after their previous films Simha and Legend, both of which turned out to be super successful at the box office.
For a few days now. reports have been circulating that Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar would be doing a special cameo in this film, in the role of an honest police officer. It was also said that the makers specifically approached Puneeth to play this part, as he would perfectly suit the role. Considering that Puneeth had done a cameo in Balakrishna’s film Gouthami Putra Sathakarni, everyone thought that these reports were true.
Now, Puneeth Rajkumar has himself cleared these rumors. He said that he is not doing any cameo in the film, and that he was not even approached for any role in that film, in the first place. He also said that their family is close to Balakrishna’s family, and that both the families keep meeting each other regularly.
Puneeth said that Balakrishna visits his house with the latter’s family, whenever they are in Bangalore, and this has been happening ever since the time of their fathers. Both NTR and Rajkumar shared a special bond with each other, and regularly met with each other. The same tradition is now being followed by their sons.
