A few days ago, we reported that Koratala Siva has extended Ram Charan‘s role in Acharya. This film marks the coming together of father-son duo, Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan, and Koratala Siva wants it to be a special one for mega fans.
For some reason, the makers of Acharya struggled to lock the second female lead, who would romance Ram Charan.
However, the latest updates suggest that the producers of the social drama have finally zeroed in on Pooja Hegde. The dusky beauty is in pole position to play Charan’s love interest in the film.
Pooja is yet to sign the dotted line but she is very much the favorite to bag the role. She was previously seen in Jigelu Rani, the super hit item song in Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam.
Now that Charan’s role in Acharya had been extended, he will have to allot bulk dates for the project. He is expected to join the sets early next year.
