Actor turned author Twinkle Khanna on Monday shared a funny post about her old film Mela. Mela
marked the first release in 2000, that starred Aamir Khan, Faisal Khan, and Twinkle Khanna. Although
it had huge expectations, the film bombed at the box office.
Twinkle is known for her sense of humour and it is quite evident as an author through her books and
as a news paper columnist. The actress sportively self trolled her old film by sharing the tribute
poster that was sticked to the rear side of a truck. She tickled our funny bones by saying that it left a
scar. On the poster Tinu Verma who played antagonist `Gujjar’ is seen.
Twinkle quipped: “Certain things, I suppose, are timeless! This popped up in my messages today and
what can I say except has certainly left a mark or a scar, whichever way you look at it, on me and the
rest of the nation :)” (sic).
Netizens were quick to react and roasted more by saying it was an epic movie, while few called
Khanna- Rupa, her character name in the film.
Khanna is quite popular in self deprecating about herself. In a recent press meet, she said her films
should be banned and likes to pretend that she forgotten her film career.
