BRS party is early facing an existential crisis in Telangana with the massive outgoing trend of its MLAs. Today, another shocking development with regard to BRS has happened and it has resulted in its 9th MLA joining the Congress.
BRS Serilingampally MLA Arekapudi Gandhi has joined the Congress today in the presence of CM Revanth Reddy.
Gandhi is the 9th BRS MLA to join the Congress party and this brings down the party’s strength from 38 to 29. More BRS MLAs are likely to join the Congress soon and this would further deplete the strength of BRS in the assembly. It has to be seen what sort of action KCR will take against these defections.
Serilingampally Corporator Nagender Yadav, Miyapur Corporator Uppalapati Srikanth, Chandanagar Corporator Manjula Raghunadh Reddy, Hydernagar Corporator Narne Srinivas also joined the Congress along with Gandhi today.
