Movie Artist Association today announced that the celebration of 90 glorious years of Telugu cinema will be celebrated as Navatīhi Utsavam 2024 in July, this year. In a press meet held at Park Hyatt in Hyderabad, the details of this event were revealed, with MAA President Vishnu Manchu, Vice President Madala Ravi, Treasurer Siva Balaji, EC Members, and a few Malaysian Dignities attending it.
Hosted by actress Madhumitha, the excellence of Telugu cinema since its inception in 1932 and works done by ‘MAA’ in the last two years was described in the press meet. Advisor Datuk P Kamalanathan from Malaysia and Razaidi Abdul Rahim, the representative of Malaysia Tourism Director India and Sri Lanka, attended the event and spoke about the ‘MAA’ event that will be held in Malaysia in July.
Speaking on the occasion, Vishnu Manchu said they want to do fundraising for “MAA” from this program and decided to collaborate with the Malaysian government. He revealed that they are going to organize the biggest movie event on behalf of ‘MAA’ in Malaysia in July. However, the dates are not fixed yet. He said that they will celebrate this Navatīhi Utsavam to show the glory of Telugu cinema.
