The Covid-19 cases in Bengaluru are rising again after months of decline. The deadly virus infected 543 children in 11 days.
In the first 10 days of August, nearly 543 children in the city were infected with Covid-19, according to the Bangalore Municipal Corporation. Of these, 210 children are under 9 years of age and 330 are between 10 and 19 years of age. However, officials said that none of them had died from the infection and that most of them did not show covid symptoms. Karnataka CM Basavaraja Bommai held a special meeting in this regard.
In India, however, Coronavirus cases were down slightly compared to yesterday. The ICMR said there was a 2.6 percent drop in the number of cases registered yesterday compared to the previous day.
The total number of cases in the country is 3.21 crore. As many as 19,70,495 Covid-19 tests were conducted on Friday and 40,120 people were found positive. Nearly 42,000 people have recovered from the corona in the last 24 hours.
So far, 3.13 crore people have recovered from the corona, according to the Central Medical Health Department. The corona recovery rate in India is 97.46 per cent.
