The problem of Coronavirus is only increasing in Hyderabad with each passing day. More and more people are testing positive, and the numbers seem to only increase.
According to the latest reports, several staff members at the Telangana Governor’s residence, Raj Bhavan, have tested positive. Thankfully though, the Governor, Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan has tested negative for the virus.
Twenty-eight police personnel, 10 staff members and 10 of their family members have tested positive for the virus. The police personnel were immediately sent into isolation, while the 20 staff members have been admitted at the Government Ayurvedic Hospital. All of this information has been passed on to the Governor as well.
A few days ago, the Governor held meetings with government and private hospital officials to discuss about the way they are handling the ongoing pandemic, and to make sure that all of them put the patients first, rather than finance.
The governor had also advised all hospitals to give importance to most critical cases first, while making sure that the others are properly monitored through means of virtual interaction. She also advised them to reduce the time for testing, and the time that it takes for the results to get back.
Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan has also requested all the hospitals in the state to maintain a plasma bank, so that it would help treat those who have been severely affected by the virus.
