Per the latest reports as many as 30 people died at the stampede situation that was observed at the Maha Kumbh Mela earlier in the day today and this resulted in a terrifying situation at the premises.
Andhra Pradesh deputy chief minister, Pawan Kalyan reacted on this matter now, and he had a disclaimer to share with the pilgrims and common public alike.
“Extremely saddened by the tragic incident at Maha Kumbh Mela. My heartfelt condolences to the families affected by the tragic incident. Prayers for the departed souls and a speedy recovery for the injured. While the Uttar Pradesh Government is committed to enforcing all necessary safety measures, such incidents are deeply regrettable. I urge all devotees to stay safe and follow the safety guidelines.” Pawan noted.
The local government had already announced a compensation of ₹25 lakh for each of the affected family.
