The Telugu Desam Party is in a very crucial phase as many of their prominent leaders and MLAs are reportedly ready to join the YSRCP and even in recently happened ‘Mahanadu’, Naidu expressed his disappointment over this issue. If the suspected MLAs shift their base, TDP will definitely lose their status of the main opposition in the state.
For quite some period, Naidu is carrying out negotiations with the leaders in question and is trying his best to prevent any defection from his already-shattered-party. Now, Naidu will get clarity from these leaders in a short period.
On June 19th, the center has decided to conduct the Rajya Sabha polls. For 18 seats, these polls will be conducted all over the country and 5 leaders from Andhra Pradesh are in the fray for 4 seats. TDP’s Varla Ramayya was tactically placed in the contest along with 4 other YSRCP leaders.
Now, Naidu will be waiting keenly to find out who among his 20 MLAs will vote for their party’s candidate. Already 3 MLAs joined Jagan’s club and now, CBN is very tense to find out those leaders who are willing to join the ruling party. So, after June 19th, the AP politics are going to take a massive turn.
