After the new currency notes and a 2000 value note, Narendra Modi came up with another new currency coin. On the occasion of 150th Jayanthi of Mahatma Gandhi, Narendra Modi came up with a gift of 150 rupees coin. On the other hand, United Nations released a postal stamp honoring Mahatma Gandhi.
Speaking to the people in Sabarmathi Ashram, Narendra Modi stated that the India Gandhi dreamed about is getting built. He further memorized the words stated by Mahatma Gandhi on the topic of Swatch Bharat, a happy and peaceful place for people to live in. On the aspect of cleanliness, Modi mentioned that around 60 Crores people are having toilet access and construction of toilets for another 11 Crores is on progress. He thanked all the people for the support saying that the nations worldwide were praising India for the progress.
By 2022, India is aiming to zero the usage of plastic and Modi stated that the single use plastic is doing lot of damage to the environment.
