It is known that the YSRCP Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy earlier faced a “Kodi Kathi” attack in the airport. The issue, then shook the political circles of the Telugu states for a good number of days. The then ruling party TDP blamed YSRCP calling it as a sympathy gaining attack and the latter blamed Telugu Desam.
Much to the shock, it is on the same day, when YSRCP was announced as the winner in the elections, Srinivasa Rao, the one who attacked Jagan with Kodi Kathi was released from the jail. This led to severe discussions on the social media. Several considered it as a conspiracy planned by the young CM himself.
However, the actual truth has been buried long back, but it seems the “Kodi Kathi” attack has brought the golden days to all the people involved in it. Firstly, Srinivasa Rao, the one who attacked is offered a flat, the who one got attacked became the Chief Minister of the state and the doctor, who treated Jagan after the attack is offered the post of Chairman of Andhra Pradesh Medical Council.
So the Kodi Kathi has now acquired quite significance among the political circles. A few called it as a “Political Kathi”and a few others consider it as “Lucky Kathi.
